Lizzy is here!! She was born on June 6th at 7:03 pm and weighed 7lbs 7oz and was 19in long. I started contracting at 2 am and told Alan that maybe we should go to the hospital to make sure. As we drove to the hospital, since we weren't in any rush, we decided to fill our tires with air because they were quite low. When we got to the hospital I was contracting and dilated to 1 1/2 and effaced about 75% so they decided to admit me and all the fun began. At one point Alan and I added up all the things that were attached to me and there was 8, IV, Epidural, oxygen, monitor for my contractions, monitor for Lizzy heart rate, monitor for my heart rate, catheter, and a tube to put some water back in my uterus. Yeah it got pretty crazy, but man do I love epidurals!
Alan was totally smitten by her he was constantly giving her kisses and holding her.
This was Lizzy's first story time with daddy. Alan was telling her the story of Princess Cuppie (who is me) and Prince Awesome Socks (who is Alan) and the new Princess, Princess Ellie (that is Lizzy).
Lizzy was listening to her daddy very intently
This was right before we went home from the hospital she was all ready to go.
She loves sleeping like this all snuggled up to someone on their chest.
Having Lizzy's first Family Home Evening lesson, it was on the importance of families.
She already has a little personality. We love her so much and we cannot believe she is already here. Being parents is pretty hard but so worth it every time I look at my baby girls little face.
