Let it Fall

Fall is my favorite time of year for many reasons. I love Fall colors I don't think there is a more beautiful season with all the reds, yellows, oranges, and greens blending together to make a magnificent colored canvas. So here are some beautiful scenes from nature of this amazing season.

Summer Vacations

Alan had his 24th birthday on June 24th, yep it was his Golden Birthday, so we did what he loves best, Thrill Rides. We spent the day at Lagoon with some friends and after we went to Famous Daves BBQ, it was fantastic! This picture is of us waiting to go on Rattle Snake Rapids.
Our first big trip of the summer was to Goblin Valley. We camped one night and went hiking all the next day. It was amazing, there are 3 different valleys you can hike to, we did all 3. We played a game finding cool looking goblins and naming them. We named on Elvis because it looked like Elvis Presleys profile.
I cannot believe I hiked through all of these goblins!
Another big vacation we went on was a road trip to Las Vegas and Disneyland. We went Labor Day Week and wow was that a great time to go, neither places were very busy. In Vegas we went to the M&M factory and Coke factory.

We walked through Ceaser's Palace, Belagio, Venetian, MGM Grand, and the Stratosphere.
Obviously Alan was taking this picture
Hooray for Disneyland! We did 3 days in Disneyland. The first day was pretty much the perfect Disneyland experience (except for the Pirate's Premiers). The weather was perfect it was not crowded at all and we walked on to every ride.
Tigger is my FAVORITE
I love this picture, it is like a classic Disney moment
The Haunted House was closed because they were getting it all dressed up for the Holiday season but it looked super sweet with all the decorations on the outside.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was one of the many rides we went on. Splash Mountain 6 times, Tower of Terror 6 times, Buzz Lightyear 5 times, Screamin 5 times, and the list goes on and on.
At night it was even more magical. I love the way Sleeping Beauty Castle looks at night. We also shopped in Downtown Disney and got some stuff for my new car, oh yeah I got a new car a 2008 Chevy Cobalt, I named her Daisy.

Honeymoon 2

Well we made it one year! Alan and I have been married for over a year now. We spent our anniversary at Stein Ericksen's again and it was wonderful! The first night we went out to eat at our favorite Mexican restaurant Baja Cantina in Park City and it was fantastic as usual. We went to Redbox and got the movie 2012 and watched it on the huge couch we had in our room, it was a weird movie. Then we went hot tubing on our balcony. It was perfect weather to go hot tubing nice and cool outside which makes the hot tub so much more fun! The next day Alan taught me how to play chess, I am not very good at it because I cannot think that far ahead. We ate lunch at the restaurant in the hotel, after that we were stuffed. As we were walking back to our room we decided to go explore and we found a workout room. Alan and I have been training for the second annual Boyce Ator Triathlon and decided to go workout for an hour or two. It was awesome because we were the only ones there and each machine had its own tv that you could watch we also had iced towels for when we were done. After that we went swimming in the heated pool while it was snowing, that was awesome. After that I went and got ready for dinner and Alan went to get gas in the car and to return the redbox. Dinner was fantastic! I got the quail and pork, Alan got crab and steak and for desert chocolate gelatto. Oh being married is the BEST! I am so freakin happy I have Alan in my life! I cannot believe one year has come and gone so quickly, next thing I know we will have kids, but that won't be happening for a little bit longer. Having our anniversary was a good way to start the summer!

Winter Fun

This winter was quite eventful. Alan and I finished our Fall semesters at BYU and UVU. We finally moved out of grandma Duncan's basement and bought a townhouse in Provo close by Utah lake. We love it here, commuting from work back home isn't very fun but we make it work. We both work at Directv I am customer support and Alan was promoted a supervisor and he is really enjoying it.
We went up to temple square this winter, Alan's hair is so long! I let him grow his hair out for a little while. It is now cut cute and short.

For Christmas James and Alyson got Alan and me tickets to a Jazz game against the Heat. It was the first professional sporting event I had ever been to. It was really fun, Boozer yells a lot.
As you can see we had totally awesome seats. We have now begun our next semesters we are hoping to finish within the next two years. Alan is going into Business Marketing and hoping to get into Sports marketing, as for me I changed my major to Family and Consumer Science Education, in essence I want to be a Home Ec. teacher for high school students. We are so excited in May it will be a year since we got married and we are going to celebrate at Stein Eriksen's again. We cannot believe how quickly this first year has gone by, we have been so blessed by the Lord and we are eternally grateful!
