Little Lizzy

I went a little picture crazy with Lizzy but what can I say she is so cute. Lizzy loves her daddy so much especially when he grew out his beard in November.
We have been practicing how to sit up but all Lizzy wants to do is play.
I got her to sit for a little bit and she squeezed out a little smile.
Just chillaxin
cute face
She loves playing with tags

Check out those beautiful blues!

I was studying while Lizzy was napping and I looked over to check on her and I saw her little head peeking over at me. I had no idea she was awake.
She was singing along with Disney songs while we were playing

Reaching for her keys, she is getting so big!

This is how I find her when she wakes up in the morning. I just hope she stays like this.

Oh how I love my girl! She will be 6 months old on December 6th. She is rolling and scooting around everywhere. I cannot believe how fast she is growing, she is very tall like her daddy and she always seems to be happy.

Disneyland 2011

As the last hoora with all of the Sheffer family we decided to go to Disneyland in September. We had a really good time and it was Lizzy's first time going so this was a big deal. It is tradition to get a new mug for my souvenir, the Mickey one is Alan's and the Pluto is mine.
Lizzy was able to go on a lot of rides, her first one was Peter Pan. Her favorite was the new Little Mermaid ride in California Adventure.
This is after everyone went on Grizzly River Rapids, there is Nick, Alan, Julie, Meg, Merrill, and Bert the other two are random people. Amber and I were watching the kids.

Lizzy and Alan in front of the Haunted Holiday Mansion with Nightmare Before Christmas. It was awesome. I think they should leave it that way.
Amber made the cutest Minnie Mouse ears, Lizzy wore them on her 2nd day everyone kept saying how cute she looked.

3 Months Old

Lizzy is 3 months old. I cannot believe how time flies. The day she turned 3 months we took some pictures of Lizzy so Alan could have some pictures of her at his new job Lifestyle Crafts. Since Alan is a huge Eagles fan we did some fun ones with the Eagles blanket and bib.
She had to wear a bow in her hair or else she looked too much like a boy.
We also took some pictures with this cute bear beanie, Lizzy did not like wearing it too much.

She is always eating her hands.
Her cute shoes. I am obsessed with shoes and these are just too cute on her.
This was Lizzy's first time watching an Eagles game and she got to sit on daddy's lap with the Eagles blanket.

She watched intently pretty much the whole game. We already have a little Eagles fan.
These are some other pictures that I took of my cutie. I still cannot believe she is 3 months old. I love my little girl so much, she brings us so much joy and a lot of laughter.

By the end of the picture taking she started to get grumpy and needed a nap.

Coyote Gulch 2010

More stuff from summer of 2010. Alan and I went to Coyote Gulch with James, Allison, and Preston. It was a lot of fun. We left late at night and it was a long drive mainly because most of the roads were washed out because of flash flooding, but that is what made it an adventure. We had to keep digging and making our own roads, it was really tiring but fun, Alan and James found a triancula and started freaking out, it was pretty funny.
Because of all the flash flooding there were sink holes everywhere. Alan, Preston, and James could fit pretty much their whole bodies in the holes, but they had to keep moving or the mud would begin to harden and it was really hard to get out.
The Gulch was absolutely beautiful, there was no one else there and the water felt fantastic.
So we took the long trek down the gulch.

I believe this is waterfall one.

Waterfall two

Beautiful arches everywhere
The leach!!!

Alan swimming across the leach infested pond. He jumped in and swam as fast as he could so no leached would attach.
Alan checking to make sure no leaches were on him.
Alan peeing
The third and final waterfall. In the picture there is a little cavern, that is the shower but because the flash flooding was so bad the water moved about 5 feet over where it is now in the picture.

LOVE THIS PICTURE!!
As we were hiking out of the gulch stopping to take a rest.

This was one of the washed out roads on the way to the Gulch. we actually almost drove into the hole. It was about 20 feet deep.
Oh it was a very fun adventure, except for the thousands of mosquitoes that came out as we were traveling back to camp. Alan and I had to run the whole way back because we had probably 5-10 mosquitoes on us at all times, it was crazy, stupid us for forgetting the bug spray.
