One Friday morning we decided to go to the beach since we are only about 40 minutes away. We drove down to Galveston with Nick, Amber and Malleya and went to East Beach. This was Lizzy's first time putting her toes in the sand and the ocean. It was pretty hot but anywhere in TX is hot.

She was pretty scared at first and I could tell she did not want to go into the water
She was not a happy camper I think it was because she had just woken up from a nap so I don't think she was ready for the ocean quite yet.
All she needed was daddy
Lizzy warmed up to it and was fine. The water was the perfect temp, like bath water.
and yes the water is that brown for about a half mile then it goes dark blue

This was their expressions every single time they jumped a wave it was really fun

Alan made a little cove for Lizzy with his body so she wouldn't be bombarded with waves
