New Adventures Await
Well we have decided our cute Townhome is just a bit to small for our family, so we put it up for sale and a month and a half later it was sold. We did a lot of work on it to make sure we could sell fast. We painted the entire main floor, two toned greys and white. We got new carpet on the second floor and we professionally cleaned the living room and stairs carpet. It looked amazing, Alan and I kept saying why didn't we do this sooner? We also fixed our backyard up. We are really sad to leave this wonderful home, especially because this is the home that we brought our two kids home to after they were born. It is also the house we spent our first Christmas together in. We have a lot of memories here, but it is time for a change. We do not have another home yet, but we are looking and we have found a few that we really like.

Winter Wonderland
For Thanksgiving every year since Alan and I began dating we go up to Park City and spend two nights there. This year we stayed in a Deer Valley Resort condo. It was way fun! We go over to the Park City high school and play football.
We usually have to sneak onto the field, but we made it. If you can see the people in the background trying to figure out the combo to the locked gate, we eventually just climbed the fence.
This is Williams first experience with snow he did not realize how cold it was and would forget every time he put his hands in it. He would come crying to be because his hands were so cold. I would warm them up and then he would do it all over again.
Lizzy and I took a walk because she really wanted to go play out in the snow but her shoes were soaked through so we walked in our slippers on the dry sidewalk.
She made a little snowball
She also found a pine cone and as she called it a little Christmas tree
We had a hot tub on our deck and we took advantage of it every day
Our Christmas tree, minus the ornaments
Lizzy was the lucky one who got to put the star up on the tree.
These two love watching Netflix together on the iPad
The Lizzy pose
We won a bunch of stuff from Trafalga and this 10 foot snake was one of them, yes it is really 10 feet long!!
a little turtle
Frosty the whale

Fall Fun
This is a typical night at the Sheffer home. They love to read scriptures and they even have their own. Lizzy reads one verse with us and she always ends her verse saying "with cookies"
My sweet little princess, she loves to pose for pictures
This is her go to pose
For Halloween this year we decided to be the people from the Lego Movie. Lizzy was very excited to be Lucy AKA Wildstyle.
Alan was President/Lord Business. I don't want to toot my own horn, but I made all our costumes and they really looked awesome!
I was Princess UniKitty and William was Emmet. Lizzy had so much fun trick-or-treating with her daddy. She got so much candy daddy had to carry her bag for her.
I absolutely love Fall, it is my favorite season. I love the colors and the perfect weather. We have lots of beautiful maple trees around our house and we took a lot of advantage of those falling leaves.
William would pick up a single leave and just carry it around while we played
Lizzy's go to pose
Our pumpkins this year turned out pretty good. This one is mine, if you cannot tell it says Creepy
Lizzy painted and carved hers, She chose three little pumpkins
Of course Alan did the Doxa symbol
William eating his first piece of Halloween candy
This little dude is so cute. I swear he gets smarter and smarter every day.
In July my grandma Ator passed away, we called her the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella because she literally looked like the Fairy Godmother. Lizzy is at the tender age where she remembers the funeral and Alan and I had to explain that great grandma went to see Jesus and she is with her grandpa (my dad). A few months later we got a surprise that we inherited this cute Fairy Godmother barbie doll from grandma and Lizzy adores it.
More playing in the leaves
Running and jumping in the big pile
We have this huge hunk of cement right in the middle of our back yard from the previous fence line and we attempted to dig it out and the kids wanted to help so bad.
William got bored and went to play on the slide
Lizzy was a wonderful helper and earned some pennies for all her hard work.
